MIT $100K – Elevator Pitch Workshop
Bill Aulet, Renowned Serial Entrepreneur, to Give Workshop on Pitching Business Ideas
Cambridge, MA – The MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition is holding a workshop this Tuesday, October 2, 2007 for interested participants and entrepreneurs looking to sharpen their “elevator pitches” prior to the upcoming Elevator Pitch Contest (EPC). Bill Aulet, who has raised over $100 million in funding for his companies and directly created hundreds of millions of dollars of market value, will help workshop participants learn how to effectively communicate their business idea in 60 seconds or less. Bill will be joined by a professional theater coach to help participants with their overall delivery.
The MIT 100K is a leading business plan competition, which was founded in 1990 to encourage students and researchers in the MIT community to act on their talent, ideas and energy to produce tomorrow's leading firms. Entirely student-managed, the competition has produced hundreds of successful ventures that have created value and employment.

MIT 100K Entrepreneurship Competition Kicks-Off
100K To Launch New $10,000 Elevator Pitch Contest Open To All
Cambridge, MA – The 2007-2008 MIT100K Entrepreneurship Competition officially launches this Tuesday with a kick-off meeting for interested participants and entrepreneurs. New to the 100K this year will be the $10,000 Elevator Pitch Contest (EPC) with prizes across various categories. The contest will give students and innovators from across the country an opportunity to hone their ideas, network with fellow entrepreneurs and talk to leading members of the venture capital and investment communities.
