Our Contests

The MIT $100K Competition is a year-long series of events that consists of three contests focused on different skill sets: the Elevator Pitch Contest (Fall), the Executive Summary Contest (Winter) and the Business Plan Contest (Spring). The contests are all self-contained—you do not need to enter the Elevator Pitch Contest in the Fall in order to enter the Business Plan Contest in the Spring.

The Elevator Pitch Competition is open to the public – anyone who signs up can participate to compete for the $10,000 prize.  For the Executive Summary Contest and the Business Plan Contest, teams must have at least one MIT student.

Each contest separates entrants into six distinct tracks—Development, Energy, Life Sciences, Products and Services, Mobile, and Web/IT.
